RoHS3 (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive, 3rd amendment) limits the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronical equipment. The hazardous substances in question are among others lead and certain flame retardants and phthalates, used in plastic and rubber parts.

OJ Electronics A/S meets the requirements of RoHS3.This means that OJ Electronics is in compliance with the original RoHS Directive 2002/95/EU, amended by RoHS2 Directive 2011/65/EU and RoHS3 Directive 2015/863/EU. We are of course keeping up-to-date with any further amendments.

OJ Electronics A/S meets the requirements of WEEE2 - Waste Electrical and Electronical Equipment Directive (2nd revision), 2012/19/EU, which stipulates the collection and recycling of all kinds of electrical and electronical waste and prompts manufacturers to collect and dispose of the waste correctly. We make sure to always be updated on latest revisions of the WEEE directive.

We have strict in-house procedures for waste management, meeting or exceeding all requirements from local and national authorities. We currently sort waste into more than twenty different subgroups.
