Energy Accounts

Objective

Maximum production with least possible energy consumption.

The purpose of energy accounting at OJ Electronics is to minimise the use of energy and other environmental resources by reporting annual consumption of electricity, water and heat. This is done by analysing consumption in relation to that of the previous year taking into account changes in the sales of products manufactured in Denmark. The accounts are also used to increase awareness of consumption levels among employees, thus helping to improve our behaviour as defined in the code of conduct.
 

We use resources thoughtfully

The energy accounts describe consumption over a whole year. In order to track and influence short-term developments, the accounts are supplemented with internal balanced scorecards specifying fixed, visible targets for consumption to ensure constant monitoring and ongoing adjustment. This helps us maintain and continuously improve responsible consumption of resources.
